Hi, I’m Kristen! I create eye-catching watercolor artwork, illustrations, and handlettering designs for products.

MY STORY

As a kid I was always making and creating. My mom is very creative and nurtured that in me as well. I always LOVED doing anything artsy or crafty; I would write and illustrate story books, paint rocks and ceramics, draw on paper or wood blocks, make dolls and sew them with my mom, or just make things out of fabric and hot glue yarn or beads onto it. Creating is innate within me, and has always been my happy place.

Now, with a background in Graphic Design, and a passion for creating artwork, I’ve combined the two and make artwork & designs for products, client projects, as well as fabric and home decor. I am inspired most by nature, flora & fauna, mystic & magic, and bohemian geometric motifs. My work typically preserves the hand drawn or hand-painted feel, and a touch of whimsy.

This passion of mine is all following my bliss; it's what makes me get into that "flow" where I become totally immersed & pour all my energy into what I'm doing, whether it be drawing, painting with watercolor or gouache, editing designs in Photoshop, making repeatable patterns, or planning what's to come next.

I live in New England with my husband, toddler, and pets, and enjoy soaking up quality time and snuggles with them when I’m not working!

I am very thankful that I get to do this work, and my hope is that it can help other businesses and makers thrive.
